In this anthropomorphic portrait the family, besides being the foundation, the pillar, the history, the genealogy in each one of us, is also an encyclopedia of stories, provided by the difference in personalities and styles, this is a modern and contemporary family, the artist has thus tried to create a link with the observer by suggesting that he reveals himself in some of the interactions or bodily and facial expressions of the figures. In the center the patriarch and the matriarch try to keep the structure cohesive at least until the portrait, around them, well, the connections are varied and possible in the imagination of each one of us.
Family is a haven, a support, a place where pain can be allowed to catalyze. A place where there is usually love. And there are those of blood who are our masters in the cradle, the ones who allow us to see our weaknesses and triggers so well, and there are those we meet throughout life, who are also our lap and who allow us to grow up supported, taught, and taught, and accepting that, still family, we are all different and just want to be accepted and loved.
