47.2x70.9 in ~ Painting, Acrylic, Enamel
21st in the series Synapse. Dripping with enamel on acrylic background on canvas. Abstract expressionism, without any figurative representation.
Inspirational Theme: As part of his theory of the collective unconscious, Professor Carl Gustav Jung described the Anima as the unconscious feminine side of a man and the Animus as the unconscious masculine side of a woman, they are the two primary anthropomorphic archetypes of the unconscious mind that oppose the theriomorphic and inferior function of the shadow. Luis consciously tried to represent his personality in this colorful work of art, and certainly unconsciously did so.
