It was a rainy day, the news about Cyclone Idai devastating Mozambique was coming, my heart was heavy, and for 9 hours, non-stop I painted, painted, created, recreated, layer upon layer, emotions running high, conflicting. It was a sad day that I remember, but a new day came, and I looked at it with a different perspective, with another light, it was hope, the strength of purpose, moving forward, life...
After a fall we must rise and move on because life goes on and Mozambique will rise again.
