Nino was a pet of my dear departed mother, the word is an abbreviation of the word "boy" and is also a commonly used name for pets. I subtly tried in this work to evoke the viewer's power of observation by making a dog, a cat or a mouse appear sublimely, all three coexisting in the same space in tolerance and brotherhood, something that is so lacking in this world and that we should cement in our lives as much as possible. I hope you can find them in this original Luís Bastos and that you can also find in yourself and in those around you this deeper meaning, making your life fuller and more pleasurable, and thus valuing my art.
