"Rasputin" arrived in June, the month in which the LGBT community fervently celebrates around the world as the month of pride. The bright and cheerful colors, the exuberance and exaltation of the costumes are part of this composition, thus transporting us to a disco night, to the sound of Boney M, the 70's band that served as inspiration for the title and theme of this work. By calling attention to this way of being in life that some of us want to live, I am also invoking values such as freedom of expression, equal rights, tolerance, and acceptance as a form of civilizational affirmation of societies that want to be modern and able to rejuvenate every day.
