From abstraction to figurative the journey can be calm or intense and intensity could be a good word to characterize a first reading of this work. The artist masterfully and in his own style used the spatula with contrasting and well-saturated colors, thus invoking the instincts and sensory perception of the viewer. At a closer look the figures appear in undulating movements that suggest the revelry, dance and groove of Soul, Rock, or Jazz.
